Reducing (The first step of sustainability)

Day 5-10 March 2023

    The last day started with a carbon footprint analysis. The average carbon footprint for each participating country was calculated. Thus, the average value of the carbon footprint/individual in Latvia was 8.9 tons, in Romania 10.5 tons, and in Turkey 9.5 tons.

    The participants planted spring flowers and trees in the school yard. The manager of the town hall's green spaces, Mr. Teodor Rotaru told them about the importance of trees in reducing the amount of CO2.



    After the evaluation, certificates of participation were awarded in a festive setting.
